Information on me:

Pamela Almeida is a Master naturalist, gardener, wildlife and entomology enthusiast. A co-leader for the Jersey Shore chapter of the Native Plant Society, member of the National Butterfly Association, & Monarch Watch Foundation.
I educate adults and children alike in the appreciation of fauna & flora in New Jersey. I have been successfully rearing Monarch butterflies for over 15 years.
My experience includes public outreach, education, creation & design of pollinator gardens. Also applicable are Certified wildlife habitats and Monarch "Way-stations".
Currently I design and consult for sustainable residential and commercial gardens. My workshops are customized for all levels, experience and age.
***I am not a butterfly breeder, each egg is hand picked from my property. Each caterpillar is hand raised, which is a 30 -32 day process of laborious love. Their food is decontaminated, each one is tested for disease before release.
